Braai Society
Where the fire brings people together.
Now Open
In the heart of Birnam, fire takes centre stage. Rooted in the South African braai tradition, our generous plates are made for sharing, bringing people together around good food, warm conversation and the table.

Fire, soil, plate.
Three moments behind every meal at Braai Society.

Over the Fire
Bone-in steaks, rubbed and seared over the fire. No gas, no shortcuts — just heat, smoke and patience.

From the Soil
Heirloom carrots and seasonal greens, glazed and grilled alongside the meat. The garden sets the plate.

On the Plate
Fire-grilled steak, broccolini, smashed potato and warm flatbread — built to share, made to linger over.

Built for
sharing.
Nothing arrives plated for one. Ribs come whole, flatbreads come torn, and the tomahawk is sliced in front of you and set down in the middle.
Come as two. Come as ten. The table doesn't mind either way.
